The New Georgia State Bird
I moved to South Georgia a few years ago and noticed something very interesting..The buzzards are HUGE and the state bird is not the humming bird, or robin, or blue jay,or sandpiper...It has to be the mosquito and the gnat!! Oh my goodness especially those gnats!! It would be cool if you could eat them or use them for something but nope! Oh well if you think your state has a dumb state bird..Be thankful it doesn't fly around, almost invisible and BITE LIKE ALL GET OUT! |
